I’m feeling a little better today, at least enough to get a few things done.
I took care of the cats which happen whether I feel good or not.
A load of wash started.
The kitchen was cleaned except for washing the floor.
I made several phone calls such as:
· The Chrysler car dealership to request my name be removed from their mailing list – they did not call back today.
· My talk therapist to reschedule for next week.
· My advisor regarding one of my 1099s for the 401K I had rolled over into one of my existing IRAs. Whew, I don’t have to declare this money on the returns. I also talked about the status of my funds – we shall make changes and we talked about retirement monies.
After all that activity I slowed down, Michael got up, we had lunch and I took a nap. The only other things accomplished were to post wedding entries in my date book for when things need to be done.
One thing done, I finally talked to the florist (we kept missing each other – actually she misplaced my telephone number and the number that she thought was mine was someone else’s) and confirmed my original order and added two corsages and six carnations. The boys will be able to pay for that when they pick the flowers up on the 15th. It’s fun to see the items crossed off my list as the days go by.
I hope that everyone has had a great day.

I must say, Em, that this upcoming wedding has made a significant difference in your overall demeanor, at least from what I can from out here in webville. You seem to be so much more full of the joie de vivre lately. I guess a wedding has that effect on people. I smile whenever I read your entires because I can see that flame flickering in your spirit nowadays. What fun. I do hope pictures will be taken and shared!
It gets more exciting as the days count down.
Hi Bex and Carol:
Yes, getting ready for the wedding has put some spirit back into me. Although, I still have down days and have to hang out in my jammies and read or watch TV.
But weddings are so exciting and Michael and I feel like teenagers. To think we are quickly coming up on 15 years of being together, I would have thought this would be a cake walk. Well it isn’t and we are excited and hoping everything comes together on the 15th.
I’m sure it will.
