Quote of the Day:
“When stuff in life gets really rough, I would just die if I was not writing a novel. Once you think it up, it’s like a whole other city with a little door and every time you sit down to write you just open the door and there you are – a wonderful vacation for two hours.”
— Lee Smith

I woke up this morning with Bailey attempting to give me my daily derma-abrasion. I was not up for that so I got up. When I was up, Bailey jumped down off the bed. It is between 8 and 8:30 a.m. I feel sleepy and sort of blah.
I don’t feel like doing any of my regular morning stuff and I don’t. I did brush Bailey; Max was still up on the bed with Michael. I took my position on my chair and snoozed the rest of the morning away.
I woke up and heard rain drops on the skylights. I can tell it is a gray day out. The house is chilly. Max has been in my lap twice for a nap. The weather is mimicking my mood.
