Today seems to be mummy day. The best quote so far is: “Where is my mummy?”
Now I’m onto “Manticore” where U. S. soldiers in the Middle East get to dance with “legendary” creatures that an angry Iraqi has released the animals from their sleep.
I believe this is one I have seen before so I may do some of my puttering stuff. I leave it on this station as it is white noise for Michael who is sleeping.
Other titles for my viewing enjoyment are: “Stan Lee’s Harpies,” “Monster Ark,” “Riddles of the Sphinx,” “Tale of the Mummy” and if I am still up I have “Attack of the Sabretooth.” Oh yummy, such junk to fill my pretty little mind.
Don’t worry, I have read by “Bible,” “Simple Abundance” and “Alcoholics Anonymous.” Junk isn’t the only thing filling my head today. Plus, I received my Sample Ballots for the General Election. This will be fun reading. That is if I can understand any of it. I’m afraid to vote for fear we shall get another idiot in office who is for everyone else to be bailed out and us little folks will still be slogging along attempting to stay above the crap the elected officials have dished out and telling us we ought to be thankful.
I am also throwing some puttering around the house too. The kitties have been brushed. In reality Max has only had a half brushing. He is so tweaky that when I brushed up against the treat bag, the sound scared him and he leaped off of my leg and sat in the hallway looking for the danger. For proof, I have three first-rate scratches on my left thigh.
I’ve gone the afternoon hoping something else would pop up for me to write about and nothing has come to me. I close here and hope you have a good Saturday night.

Zen Master Shunryo Suzuki: If you want to check out a marvelous book on the life of Shunryo then it would be ‘Crooked Cucumber”
He was given that name as a child by his teacher: It basically means a cucumber that started out crooked and never became like all the other cucumbers. This was not a good thing for a child but in the end… Master Suzuki was different and that is a wonderful thing.
To expound my point one only look at his face and that tells it all.
Keep writing.
