Since I’ve been away these are the events that have happened:
- Michael had the last of his kidney stone blasting done and is now recuperating.
- His computer is not working well so he has had the direct connection and I have not had the energy to ask for it from day to day to read mail and post to Words of Mine.
- Max and Bailey have had their annual check ups and are both healthy.
- Bailey had his booster shots and we talked to the vet about our little “cat from hell” and what were our options except to give him away. Would you believe, the vets can prescribe kitty downers? Bailey is now on 10 mg of amitriptyline. Other than the fun of administering the medication we have a calm cat now. That said the whole house is at peace.
- It has been a year now since Michael was laid off from his employ. It is hard to believe the job market sucks. It is one day at a time which is keeping us sane.
- We have been having good weather so the doors and windows can be open. The fresh air is heavenly.
Just a summary but I’m still here.

I think my little dog could use some meds. She is so hyper.
Hope Micheal is well soon.
Wow, being out of work is so hard. I have never been out of work since I started working at the age of 18. Sometimes I wish I could experience it, but I am careful what I wish for these days. I need my job! P. has never been out of work because he is self-employed. If I ever had to give a young person some advice, I would say try to get into a profession where you can be self-employed. It is so much better for the nervous system in the end, and you almost never get laid off!
